
Master Dan Howard Biography
Dan Howard began training in the martial arts at the age of 11. He holds the rank of 7th degree master black belt and is the founder of the Gyodokan Kaizen Kempo Karate System and American Escrima stickfighting. Master Howard holds black belts and instructor levels in Maududo Karate, Taekwondo, Ryukyu Kempo Karate, Arnis and has trained extensively in Small Circle Jujutsu,
Wing Chun Kung Fu, Chito-Ryu Karate, and Kickboxing. Master Howard has won 3 international gold medals in Mexico (1998),Jamaica (1999), and The United States (2003) as well as several local, state, and regional competitions. A former Marine and a deputy jailer for many years Master Howard has learned first hand of the importance of training for realism in the martial arts. He also trains law enforcement and military personnel in defensive tactics and has conducted many realistic self-defense classes for women.
